Why is the Pats v Giants game on CBS AND NBC?

I don't care either way since I'll be at the game but why would they show it on BOTH of these networks? I just don't get it. Also, will it just be the NFL Network feed or will these networks have thier own announcers there? If you live in NY you and get the NFL Network you will have four channels that you can watch the game on since they already planned to air it on a local station here for people without NFL Network.

Any ideas?

NBC has the rights to night games, and CBS has the rights to the Pats so they wanted to make both networks happy.

To make it worse, if you live in NYC (they will get it on FOX as well) you will have Bryant Gumbel on FOUR different channels at the same time:doh:
