2022 MLB Season Games Attended by SCC Members

I was just talking to my wife and son about this yesterday at lunch. This is the kind of athlete that I can appreciate, regardless of what team they play for. Especially these days, it's so easy to get caught up in a selfish attitude when it comes to sports, and there's certainly a selfish element when it comes to professional sports. Be selfish with your contract, but to win games you need the entire team and your individual accomplishments mean absolutely nothing. I think a lot of that is lost on some of the younger kids these days because they all want to look flashy and be admired by fans. I admire guys like Cabrera, who say things like this and who only care about winning, a hell of a lot more than anyone who has a me-first attitude. I hope a lot of the younger generation, especially, see/hear this right here!

Mr. Cabrera, well done, sir.

Well stated!

4 stadiums down and 6 games attended so far…anybody else hit up a game yet this season that we can add to our list? Let me know!

Mike

Okay we finally hit up our first game of the year last night…Padres vs Cubs at Petco Park.

It was our boys little league night at the ballpark so they got to watch the game with all of their baseball buds. Patrick Wisdom signed for them pregame which was really cool. And it was my oldest son’s birthday too!

A classic from the 1959 World Series....have been to many games at the Old Comiskey and the new park, under its various name changes over the years. A nice place to see a game!

My sons and I are heading to Busch Stadium on 6.14 to see the Cardinals hopefully beat the Pirates....this will be my 6 year old son's first game since he was just 2, so really looking forward to it!

Awesome Kevin! Snap a pic and add it here after the game so we can knock Busch Stadium off of our list! Nothing like being at the ballpark…especially with the kiddos!
