I love busting boxes, I just buy several at a time and go to town! Issue is I'm wanting to buy some 05-06 boxes but those redemptions are all expired aren't they? This stinks, b/c I don't want to risk getting a box and then pulling a great card that's a redemption then I'm screwed!

Can I ask why you want to bust 05'06 products?

That rookie class stank and depending on the product the great pulls like Paul, Deron and Lee RC autos are probably redemptions so I am not sure why you want to bust those products?

I know for sure that AC will want you to bust 05'06 SPx and pull a Marvin!

BJ - You have to look at the risk vs. reward. Is it worth it to you, to possibly get a redemption, or possibly getting the big hit you are looking for? Also, you could check with UD to see what they would do if you were to pull a redemption.

bjtheman - I guess 05'06 Finest is the perfect example of the problems you will have. You can pull some great RC autos but you can also pull worthless redemptions like Adam Morrison etc

There are still a few other hits to get like superfractors, low # refractors etc

I guess Bhelser gave you some good advice there.
Check with the card companies to see what they would do with the expired redemptions.

Well I'm working on the 05-06 GOTG Future Auto's Set, # to 25 & 99. Some of these would be possibly easier to pull from boxes and also chances of getting another nice auto, etc too.
Also, the 05-06 Class was pretty good compared to 06-07 & 07-08 in my opinion.

Chris Paul
Monta Ellis
Deron Williams
Danny Granger
David Lee
Andrew Bynum
I know I'm forgetting a couple more.

That's what I was going to do before I make a move. I got lucky awhile back when I got a box of 05-06 GOTG, pulled a future auto redemption that expired like 4 days before I got the box! I called and UD gave it me, but being close to a year past expiration might not be considered.

I would wait for some of the nicer 08/09 Upper Deck stuff to come out.
