Total douchebag IMO.

what is wrong with this? He specifically states that it is an aftermarket product and not an actual 1/1 by the manufacturer. Personally, I think they look pretty cool and are a nice oddball item for a collector.

i agree, even the card companies state on boxes, packs and sometimes cards themselves that they make no claim to whether the card will hold future value

Let's put out this hypothetical situation:

A 22 year old sees these cards and thinks to himself that he'll pick one up for $10 for the hell of it. Come two years later, the player on the card is a freakin' super star stud. The kid next door is a HUGE fan of the player and tries to collect cards of this player. The now 24 year old decides to sell the aftermarket "novelty" card to the little kid for 2 months worth of mowing lawns. The kid thinks it's real, finds out it's fake a few months later, and is crushed.

The stuff that this seller is putting out makes hypothetical situations like that possible.

It's possible I guess. Why would the kid be crushed though? He has a cool looking card of his favorite player. Two months of mowing lawns isn't that bad either (hypothetically)

Let's say he mows a lawn a weekend, $20 a lawn, that's $160..............it would be like you buying a kick ass Lofa Tatupu patch for over $100 just to learn it was a fake. Even though it would be a cool looking card of one of your favorite players, you would still be, in the words of the great Grant, "hella pist."

If not, get back to me in a week.......might be able to hook you up with some sweet cards;)

He says what they are. Similar to UD patch collection and non-GU letterman.

If I took a regular jersey card, put an NFL patch in the jersey card, said it was fake (yada yada.............), would it be ok for me to sell that? To me anyways, that's what this is, and the buyers of the card which this person is providing could take advantage of the less knowledgable.

Then he is out the physical exersion of mowing lawns. Kids these days are too fat anyways. :lollol::doh:

eh, I dunno. I just don't see a problem with it.

this guy isnt creating fraud, the second guy is the scum bag, what your saying is like blaming a car dealership if someone sells you a used car under false pretenses
he is selling a pretty cool product and not making any false claims about it, its not his fault if some ass, screws a kid several years down the road
