Masters officials were reviewing Tiger Woods' drop on the 15th hole Friday and whether or not it was in the proper spot; if it was deemed to be improper, he would be disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.

this would totally suck (for lack of a better word)!

I understand rules-are-rules, and I'm NOT a golfer (although I have a nice set of clubs and have hit the ball once or twice), but give 'em a break!

2 stroke penalty.

Lucky they changed the rule in 2011 so he wouldn't get DQ.

Bad luck cost him 3 shots in the end. ouch.

I'm surprised at all the abuse Tiger is getting on Twitter though.
So many people saying he should DQ himself. wow.

Each hole is assigned marshalls, so there's really no reason this should happen to any player. They should be approached, and told their options by the officials. This phoning in crap has gotta stop.
