what a shame that this happened...the really sad news is that the news media will dig and dig until they can either: 1) find the blackmail information, or 2) make up their own blackmail information.

Just amazing the perp thought he could get away with it. I watched the rookie symposium video years back and they covered the extortion aspect that new rooks have to go through. Just crazy
