Football removing a card from BGS slab HELP!

Hey guys, need some help...can you refer me to a page or site that explains how to remove a card from a bgs graded card holder or slab whatever you want to call it? Anyone of you have expierence with this?

I've read on the Beckett Boards the best thing to do is to take a small screwdriver and insert it into one of the slots on the side and crank it until you hear the case snap/crackle/pop and then from there gently pry it open.

Search the Beckett boards in the football talk section, I remember there was recently a thread asking the same question.

BAM - some grades actually hurt the value of the card more than help.

honestly its a Bron auto and its graded a 8.5 and auto of 9 so like JeRmZ said above it sort of hurts the value

ive done it, take a screw driver to each of the four corners where the plastic meets, take a hammer and hit the screw driver into each of the corners, and should leave ya with a card
