Okay, at 21-11 they didn't have the record that a defending Champion was expecting to have... but hey... it's those blasted AUTOMATIC BIDS (Liberty 15-20) that keep the teams with winning records out of the tournament!
...and how can a team with an OUTSTANDING record make it into the tournament using the "on the bubble" rule when they have a better record than most of the seeded teams (Middle Tennessee 29-5, St Marys 27-6)?
Mike and Mike (ESPN) were explaining it's based on scheduling. So, you are going to punish Middle Tennessee because they don't play in a Big Ten-style conference? Just isn't right. I hope they easily cruise through the tournament and make it to the Final Four!

twas a tough year for the wildcats, and to add insult to injury,louisville opens the BIG tournament at rupp arena. DOH!
