Why don't they use UPS or Fedex Ground its like 6.00 to 8.00 a package maybe 12.00 with the insurance they add.

I can use Fed Ex if I have an account number. Which I do not, but I will consider getting. They use USPS Registered because it is supposed to be the most secure. It gets signed for everywhere it goes. Only problem I think they have it on a pack mule in the desert right now.

What I hate is getting the stupid card on my door because I wasn't home, and I have to wait yet another day before I can pick it up at the post office.

Our postie signs for it himself and delivers it. Yet to have a problem (so far anyway!)

i dont know anything about registered mail, all my cards suck
my delivery lady is cool, and knows my voice, so if im at the counter mailing something, which doesnt happen much since i got a scale, she would bring up my mail to the counter...
