Football Favorite Player to Collect

What goes into your decision when collecting a certain player...Favorite team...Favorite position...Card value???

Personally I look at Character and then favorite team.

I love to collect the players that "get it". The guys that will sign autographs for the fans, give time in their community it seems to almost guarantee staying power in the hobby and their respective sport.

Right now at the top of my list is Maurice Drew. His whole life has been a struggle and I have watched him come up through the college ranks to become a fine player for the Jags. Unfortunately I don't have to many of his cards but I am working on it slowly but surely.

I would say fav team would be a big one for most people, also were the player comes from or if they are family or the person knows them as a friend or somehting then thay might collect them.
