WOW, what a sad story with a happy ending ....

Huntington, WV (AP) - A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Cabell County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her.

When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the Child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Miami Dolphins Football Team whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

LOL!!!!!!

LOL, yep easy to spin it to match any of these winless teams - but Miami is trading away their players - they arent looking to get any better. I think the Rams should turn it around at some point, their O isnt that bad, cant figure them out.

thats funny, the byline says huntington wv, i was there last month and was told the same joke with the punchline being marshall university

????
How are they not looking to get better? Trade away Chambers for a #2 pick (29 year old receiver who is about to get the balloon year on his contract) and trying to trade Jason Taylor who obviously should have retired last year? The Dolphins are poised to have four picks in the first two rounds! There's some hope here! Maybe not for this year, but what's the point in trying once your 0-6? Can any team that starts 0-6 suddenly make 10-6 and get into the playoffs?
They had a solid draft for the future this year with Ginn and Beck, along with Booker becoming a capable third down back... who knows what will happen! The only REAL problem the Fins have right now, b/c winnning is not an option, is Joey Porter's contract... That hurts.... almost as bad as hiring Nick Saban.
