It’s that time again. Well, the season has started for 2 days now, but Thursday and Friday games aren’t the same as opening Saturday. Anyways, it looks like there are enough decent games to keep the weekend moving.

Saturday Games Worth Keeping an Eye On:
Oregon State vs. TCU (in Arlington)
LSU vs. North Carolina (in Atlanta)
Washington at BYU
Purdue at Notre Dame
Connecticut at Michigan
UCLA at Kansas State
Cincinnati at Fresno State

Saturday's Regional Rivalries

Illinois vs. Missouri (in St. Louis)
Colorado vs. Colorado State (in Denver)
Kentucky at Louisville

Sunday Game to leave on in the background
SMU at Texas Tech

Monday’s Matchup to Watch
Boise State vs. Virginia Tech (in Landover, Md.)

Post your comments, rants, predictions, reactions, etc. :salut:

Stuff I'll be watching for:

-What kind of talent the new QB at Oregon State has.
-Will Les Miles coach down his LSU team to play at the same level as UNC's eligible second stringers?
-BYU's mission-aged experience in Provo vs. UW's young core of players (plus the elder statesman Locker)

I'm very interested to see how Cam Newton (awb's new QB) does today. Dude has been pretty hyped this offseason and IMO awb will go as far as he carries them. Hopefully to a 7-5 record.

Thanks for including Illinois vs. Missouri. Game of the week right there. Actually, there are some decent matchups for the first week. We'll see if any of today's games top the Utah vs. Pitt game from Thursday.

Illinois starts a freshman quarterback. Gives me a good reason to watch.
