Football Best way to sort cards

Try to make this short. I just picked up 50,000 cards 1979 to 2003 all diff brands. Some sorted by years brands and some by names of players. I'm pulling all the Nebraska players and have a dealer coming at the end of May to buy the rest. I'm planning to try to trade as many as possible before then.
How would you sort them to make it easy to trade as I would like to only go through them once.
year/brand
player only stars
team college or pro

I hope to get started this coming week

I know this would sound almost like an avoidance... but I would sort it in the manner of which it is easiest for you to find cards.... I would tend to believe year and brand personally... because I find most player collectors have wantlists available for you to search from. But if you find someone wanting all your tom bradys... it makes it harder. If you come across any Dan Marino inserts... I have a wantlist on my website... Thanks!
