Where will Jason Kidd end up

Although the reports are now being denied it looks like Jason Kidd may move. The teams rumored are Cavs, Mavs, and Lakers. Who do you think he would go to, and what would the nets look for in return.

My take:

I think the most likely is the Mavs as Cuban has proven he will do anything if he wants a player. I think the Lakers will have a good chance with trading either Bynum or another young player for him. But I don't think the Lakers will give up Bynum. Cavs, I don't think they have the players right now to do anything.

I think the mavs have a pretty good chance right now...and for the lakers, the GM and the owner is too stupid to make a move lol
Cavs might have a chance and I think Jason kidd do want to play with Lebron...
Mavs could trade Devin Harris+some fillers and future picks for Kidd and this move actually makes sense to both sides...
For the lakers, there's no way they will give up Bynum for Kidd...and other than Bynum, lakers dont have much to offer for kidd...maybe Odom? but I doubt lakers would do that and Nets dont want Odom...
I wish someone would take Odom out from the lakers...He just does not fit into that system...

Kidd is a great player! If I was a GM I would want him.
No idea where he will end up but I reckon the Nets, unless they get a good trade deal will start slipping

I think the lakers made the right move not moving Bynum, He is going to be very good I see. I am pretty happy with the progress I see from the kid. I think Farmar would be a good player to get in a deal. Right now he doesn't get much PT because of their lineup but I could see him being a 20 point a game player in the right situation. He has also grown alot in his second year.

It is possible that the Lakers might not even want Kidd. The picked up derek fisher (who should have never left) which has helped their backcourt. That coupled with the growth of the young players may reduce the value of Kidd to the team. The only thing that may really push them is if Kobe say, we need him. If he does that I think they Lakers will put at least a good effort in getting him for show.

The mavs may make an offer. I think they would have to maybe give up devin harris and another player. Maybe a pick or two as well.

On a side note Kidd is 35 years old. That has to drop his market value substantially.

I really hope u r right about Bynum.
This is what people said about him last season as well...until he fatigued and couldnt play at the end...
and i love watching farmar playing...even though Phil wants a bigger PG, farmar improved so much this season that he deserves more playing time...
one thing is certain about the lakers though...
They could package Kwame Brown and future round picks for a good player.
Kwame has an expiring contract so make use of it....please....lol
and about Kidd, im pretty sure anyone would love to play with him, but i dont really see him going anywhere unless NJ gets a pretty good offer.
maybe at the end of the season....

Isn't Kidds contact over this year or next year. I think it has to be in their best interest to move him because he will leave for certain. Better to get something then nothing.
