Basketball What was your most memorable and worst pulls?

Worst pull- I bought sixty packs of 04-05 topps (I still dont know why) and didnt pull anything apart from some base rookies. Didnt even make a full set and had huge amounts of triples lol

Best pull- Got a box of Topps cosigners and pulled a Greg Oden auto and then the very next pack pulled a dual auto Magic Johnson/Larry Bird #3/9
Needless to say I was a very happy man :)

I remember when you pulled the Magic/Bird! I thought the Oden auto was a GREAT box hit then you whacked me for six :D

Does your kids still 'make' you keep it? :)

Lol yeah I was thinking about selling it but then I would only just spend the money on more boxes just to try and pull a card like that so no point really.

I was chatting last night with BBfan74 - a baseball guy!

Here is his own words about his FIRST ever pack!
Stunning story :D

When I started collecting my first pack was 1989 upper deck
It was just after the Braves made it to the world series btw
So when i got the pack I was hoping to pull a smoltz rookie being he was my fav brave
I pulled a griffey rc instead
I saved it and when PSA started I sent it in to be graded
It came back a 10 and I sold it about 2 months later for $2,050

Does any new member want to share their BEST pack/box busting story? :)

I am from the Philippines and i sure remember the first box i opened was the 96 hoops being the cheepest in the market and i got an autograph from a bulls player which actually started my collecting and hunting autographs of players from the bulls and past and present players who played in the All Star games and won championships during their playing days apart to the michael jordans that i still collect to this day.
