Actually the highest grade is a PSA 8 NM-MT. Though it is widely suspected that the PSA 8 card was cut from an uncut sheet and thus not a truly legit card. There is an entire book written about it called "The Card" check it out.

As for me I would love to own one of the three PSA 10 Gem Mint Mickey Mantle 1952 Topps Rookies. There are cards worth more, but that would be the one I would want.

There has been that rumor for years.

It is a well know FACT that BGS grades sheet cut vintage well PSA says they do NOT. That is one of the reasons that PSA vintage prices > BVG prices.

i have a 1958 topps #1 ted williams, which a neighborhood kid gave me in the day when he was done destroying it, it's a grade yuck, i wish it was a perfect 10 from any semi competent grading service.
