Football TOPPS 5 STAR is LIVE!

I have seen a ton of bad breaks on these so far, which leads me to believe that the bad cases are quickly going out leaving the GREAT ones for us to bust. LETS HURRY AND FILL THIS BREAK!!
 
Wow. This product has so much nut-busting potential. It doesn't look at all that Topps mitigated the risk. You've got a shot of getting a kick straight in the nuts.
 
I certainly won't bust any of this stuff, but there are a few singles I plan on picking up. Rather just get what I want than risk getting that kick in the nuts. lol
 
well you 2 debbie downers. :) If it was that easy topps and all other manufacturers would just sell singles. This is what the hobby is about.

the hobby in general has people having a sense of entitlement when breaking. For me it is the lure of the big card.

If people are in this hobby for money they might as well head right down to their local casino. They will have better luck

Hahaha. I'm not downing it...I just can't afford to buy really expensive boxes anymore. lol. I'm lucky if I break more than 1 or 2 cheap boxes in a year. Only reason I won't be opening it. lol. I know someone has to take a hit for me to get the cards I want. Definitely not entitlement on my part at all. I just spend my money on my HOF Auto collection.
 
No doubt brother was not really referring to you for I know better with you and toppsarchives. I was just stating a general obervation. Porbably should have sorded it different. I would say it has to do more with the young guys in the hobby

This hobby is totally about the big hit, but in big-hit products, I want to make sure that I don't get kicked in the nuts. I don't think that something like National treasures gives you a nut-kick, because you always get something cool looking. Five star, though, the pack-odds are just scary. I couldn't imagine spending that much and pulling jersey cards..

All I'm asking for is risk to be mitigated by a 10 dollar autograph or two.

Basically, I won't call my nut busted if I can look at the cards, imagine that I'd actually pulled the top rookie, and feel good about it. If I open up a pack and can't imagine any scenario where it'd be a good break, I feel like my nuts have been busted.
