I had also missed this in the news, but Jean Faut, considered to be one of the best pitchers in AAGPBL history, passed away on 2.28.2023 at age 98! She was a wonderful lady, and a great autograph signer too. She always seemed humbled by the attention she received from her time in the League, and she was a great!

Vida Blue has passed away at the age of 73. RIP
That is a shame, he was a great player and had an even cooler name!
6x all star, 3 consecutive WS championships, MVP, Cy Young award....he was a stud in the 70s!!
I just read that Vida Blue never got more than 8.7 percent Hall of Fame ballots. That's incredible. I thought he might have been in.

That is wild! I admit, I only knew of him from the Royals' arrests in the 80s, but he was AWESOME!
Definitely a fan favorite…he was a great TTM signer as well.
