Seller with no conscious

It's conscience;)

And "course" :shifty:

Yeah, it does suck, but if you are running a business and the demand for something sky rockets, chances are you are going to raise the price. Not saying that I necessarily agree with that seller under the circumstances, but that's the way things are:doh:

It would be silly from a monetary standpoint not to sell them now. It's a horrible tragedy, but I think what people do with their inventory should be left up to them and not criticized. It's not like it's a scam or anything.

in 2 months the price will drop back down to normal, not surprised for people selling at high prices due to death, like phil said, happens all the time...

This coming from some who says the Pats didn't cheat :ban: Not the epitome of moral values

There is a difference in selling something. But to end them and jack it up that much is another. Obviously he was happy with $30 before. Sean dying should have no bearing on that.
Anything I have of Sean in my boxes is going to Elan so I am fine with it.

i would expect sooner or later for fakes to start popping up all over the place because how can you prove he signed it? like the companies that do their own COA with a pic of the person signing "an item" but not necessarily the one you bought. it's a sad sad world we live in when people expect to profit 3x the amount they ordinarily be satisfied with just because someone passed away.

i see your point cano

Although fiscally it could be the right thing to do, morally it is the 100 percent wrong thing to do:doh:

I do not see the harm. Supply and demand. If supply decreases or demand increases a seller should raise the price.

Society as a whole takes advantage financially when demand is higher than supply and almost always when it involves tragedy. It's not right but it's common. No surprise at all anymore.

I never said surprised. Just a disgust. More of a rant on what society has become. Kinda disappointed being a father and my kids growing up in these times.

I'm with Andy on this one. If people are willing to spend the money, who are we to say that someone can't sell their cards for the prices people are paying? To call it an issue of morals is a stretch. We're talking about football cards here. It's not like the guy's selling items taken from his funeral or anything.
