Football Results from Pack Wars at the shop... McMojo!!!

So the shop in town had its first ever pack wars (not the kind where you lose your cards) so I thought I'd stop and participate... Here are the goods.. and the REALLY goods...

Started out with some topps chrome:

I also won the box topper... Patriots Defense card.

And I pulled the auto! of... Matt Forte! Not too shabby on those











But wait... the next pack I open after the Forte... I find something.. I have to double check what I just saw Holy crap if I didn't just pull a Darren McFadden patch auto 20/25!!!! WOW I can't hardly believe it.

Also pulled from other boxes are NBA: Ultra Andrea Bargnani GU, Ray Allen GU, Cory Brewer lucky 13

MLB Elements: Kei Igawa elemental autographs (gold) auto.

holy crap on the McFadden... I didn't know Topps Chrome had jerseys let alone patches... that's sweet!

2 questions for you.

1. How do you play pack wars? I always hear about it, but have only seen where you have a chance of not keeping your cards. So how does it work that you can't lose?

2. Is that Forte available? I need an auto of him in a Bears uni (instead of my Prestige auto) and that fits the bill.

This is the first time they've done the patches in chrome, I believe.. I think they're one per case, or less... Beautiful card in person.

Pack wars (mostly) goes where someone picks a box, you go through pick as many of the packs as you want, everyone opens and before you open the person running it will have something like "Who ever gets the tallest player, gets a chance at a prize" and with ours they pull out a card, you have to come within 10% of BV and you can win it, there are some free cards in there too. It was a fun time.. first time they did it so there were only 4 of us.

The Forte may just be available -- I actually just traded for one, so when that comes in one will probably be available.

I didnt know Topps Chrome did patches either. I wonder if they'll be doingit for hoops as well.
