yeah it would have been a bit of a logistical problem, but it could have been played in the area...
yeah Baltimore played in their stadium 3 hours late for a giant snowstorm and the chargers played a home game in phoenix because of wildfires, dont remember if it was shifted a day or not...

Maybe.... just maybe..... the people who planned on going to the game would have LIKED TO HAVE ATTENDED THE GAME and have SOMETHING that resembles a home game WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE from where their HOME GAME was scheduled to be.
And maybe the NFL figured "hey, MAYBE we can't move an NFL game to a RANDOM *** SPOT the day of the game."
Possibly that?
the only thing wrong with your thoughts is it wouldnt be an NFL stadium, and i dont think a NON NFL game has been played in a college only stadium since the renovations at Soldier Field had the bears playing at U of I for a season

The NFL loves all the quarterbacks, that's why they protect them.
As for Ravens delay, the snow stopped falling nearly 12 hours before the newly proposed time change. That left ample amount of time to clean up a stadium. The Packers hire out locals to clean up their stadium, and bring in around 100 people for 2 hours. 12 hours is more than enough.
For the the Vikings, their reasoning was the safety issue of the roof, and with due cause. That can take time to bring in a specialist to access whether the building is safe or not. For example, over 24 hours later, they were just getting someone in the stadium today to access the damage. The NFL was looking at the broader picture of 50K+ lives more so than Brett Favre.
I understand you hate Favre, but this isn't hard to grasp. If the roof collapses during the game, they are looking at millions of dollars in lawsuits. The only thing they the Ravens were responsible for was snow removal. Any accidents that occur outside of the stadium due to the weather is on the individuals involved.

I don't think they could've got a stadium ready though. They thought about Minnesota's college stadium, but no way they could've had the field ready :salut:
