That was the whole point of unloading all their star players. To sink to the bottom like Pittsburgh did many moon ago, to get some top draft picks. They are hoping for John Tavares, I guess.

i wouldnt call it a role it's more like the team trying to **** so they could get some good draft pciks.

Although i did like sseeing them beat Buffalo in the preseason.

I am very interested in the Pens cuts today... Pesonen has looked good, Bissonette is my hopeful. he has had a great camp, and has displayed a toughness that they will need. Godard has been great...in his role. Too many injuries to start the season though.
