NIU is a huge favorite...this is your chance to get a load of Chad Spann and what ive been talking about since last season :salut: fudge caught some of him a couple weeks ago and liked what he saw...

maybe if they slaughter another team Herbie over at ESPN will put them on his top 25...a win should take them to 23 or so im guessing going into the Bowl game

itll be weird not having to search by conference to find stuff out about the game since they will be on the front page of espn now that they are top 25...then again i will get to watch this game on real tv, not like last week where i had a horrible feed from eastern michigan that i couldnt get until the 3rd quarter anyways, and spann had been pulled by then...

hes a good story too...hes a walkon after no D1 schools were interested because hes undersized

first half analysis

Miami using good scouting of NIU defense, they know they are aggressive and over pursue, though it looks like NIU has began to stop the misdirection run...the NIU defense is still stopping on pressure to contain the QB and look to bat down balls...

NIU Special Teams Coach is a special teams god...a couple weeks ago NIU had 3 blocked punts in a game, so far they have 2 blocked kicks...

Spann hasnt broken a big one, and Harnish isnt running as much as usual...Lynch underthrew what should have been a TD, and NaPalm alligator armed what should have been another TD...

i guess they watched the Jaguars game a few weeks ago and figured batting it down was bad :wall:

the gameplan kinda sucked...Harnish had been doing lots of those runs where he fakes to Spann, but he did like 2 in the first half, fumbling 1 of them...without the scrambling qb (Vick effect) the offense isnt that great...plus 2 huge gains were either underthrown or just not caught...

well we still get a bowl game but no longer in the Top 25 :doh:
