I collected very heavily from about 1993-98. Those years, many of the sets aren't that popular (due to high print runs)...but they were the sets from when I was a kid and I liked them. So, I can build them and they tend to be pretty affordable. The new stuff doesn't do much for me.

Actually, speaking of interesting sets...currently the most modern set I am working on (and have ever worked on) is from 2006. This is well beyond when I stopped collecting, but it's a set I find very interesting. I'm working (slowly on the side) on the 2006 Press Pass Bronze Autographed football set. I like this set because it has a ton of MAJOR college football stars...many of whom didn't pan out. For example, it has Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Jay Cutler, ect. It's a fun set. It also has a couple Ducks (including Haloti Ngata).

What about the cards of the QB who chose to play for the Knicks? I think there were five of them in that set.

Charlie Ward. I think those came out in 1994. I have the unsigned set somewhere...don't have the autos. Yes, there were 5.
