Hobby Heroes
Bench Warmer
Hello all,
I've been a member for some time under a previous user name. But since things have changed, I decided to RE-introduce myself...
My name is Richard and I live in The Netherlands. I have been collecting baseballcards more or less since the early 80's when playing baseball myself as a youngster. (parttime Second base/parttime pitcher)
One day our Third baseman showed us his birthday present his aunt in the US had send him for his birthday; a box of 1982 Topps. I was interested right away and he decided I could have his singles, or I had to buy them for 25 cents each (Can't remember if I bought a Ripken RC though.)
As I was hooked right away, you can imagine I gave this guy my weekly allowance in the following weeks...
I am opening my European online card store this summer called "Hobby Heroes" and hope to be able to get our great hobby under the attention of 400 million Europeans, so prepare for a "Euro Invasion"..
All the best and happy collecting,
Richard
