I know I would prefer a case break, but as an option to try and lower the price for some what about something like...

2010 Donruss Elite football 4 boxes (16 hits, lots of inserts) about $390
2009 SPX 1 box (10 hits) about $110
2008 Leaf Certified Materials 3 boxes (12 hits) about $180

Total around $680,,,probably around $47-50 per picked team plus 1 random team...38 hits

20 tin case. I know it's $1080 and it may be a risky move considering the tins contain only one pack.

But of course if you split the $1080 by 20 it could equate to around $54 without shipping of course. And the rewards in those tins are usually more than $54 considering that out of the 5 cards, on average there is a rookie jersey, an autograph, and a triple jersey card.

here's my other 2 suggestions then.

09-10 Upper Deck Artifacts 20 Box Case

$719.95 or about $36 a 24 pack box.

09-10 Upper Deck Black Diamond 12 box case

$1080 or $90 a box. These are hobby boxes unlike the Artifacts one so this would probably be a better choice considering the hits you could possibly get. But again it's a suggestion.
