Ebay or the Economy?

Ive noticed a decrease in EBay listings this year. It is taking longer for me to get the singles I need for my PC as the new products come out.

Is this due to increase in fees on EBay or is the economy leading to less boxes being opened?

think it has to do more with the economy being in the crapper

i haven't bought anything off ebay in a while.

Most likely the economy. Card sales are down across the board. I have seen 2 Leaf Certified Mirror Black dual logo/shoe/football 1/1s sell for less than I think they should have. An Early Doucet sold for 110 and a Kevin Smith sold for 140. Any other year, those would have sold in the 200-300 range

i think there is about the same, selling fees suck, but listing fees are down (kinda, tit for tat)...boller turns back over 90 results now and over the summer it was around 40, though there is an author named boller...

this is definately a good time to buy on ebay IF you have the money to ride for awhile...my stuff now is 90% BIN/BO so i can regulate what i take...

and as jameson said, some sales are just down...ive gotten lucky with some of my flips, Exquisite HOF Triple Namath/Montana/Marino #13/15 (marino jsy #) with 2 of the patches 2 color went for $60, i got $85 for mine, 1 pactch was barely 2 color....auction vs BIN/BO

Partly the economy but also that sellers are being royally screwed by eBay/Paypal. Too many of us who sold small amounts are avoiding the bay now. There has been a huge drop over here in listings for NFL and similar products. No-one buying either however.
