RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Report: Dunleavy Could Return 'Very Early'

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Pacers guard Mike Dunleavy is progressing very well in his recovery from knee surgery.

"Pacers' Mike Dunleavy has made "remarkable" recovery from knee surgery and source close to him says he could return "very early" in season," Wojnarowski wrote on his Twitter page.


The Pacers aren't expecting Dunleavy to return to the court until the second half of the season. He appeared in just 18 games last season.

Man now this is the type of news I like waking up to. Granger and Dunleavy were one hell of a 1-2 punch a couple seasons ago, and last season for the 18 games Dunleavy played. Add Brandon Rush's progression into the mix and we've got 3 guys that could drop 25 on any given night.
