As a Cowboys fan I want to apologize for them playing too hard and aggresive for you guys. I truly hope Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Cutler can understand that it is a game of football.....just that the Cowboys didnt get the note that it was supposed to be flag football. Maybe the Boys should have went back to a 4-3 D....maybe that would have been a little easier for the Donkeys to play against!! You know the Chargers read this article and started licking their chops!!!

Well, the link isnt working but...

I saw an interview with Lynch after the game, and he was very tongue in cheek with what he was saying. If Cutler was being serious I would have an issue with some sort of "protocol" being violated.

But there is no doubt certain teams place a higher priority on winning pre season gaems and preparing for them as a regular season game. New coaches with new teams are a prime example.

Besides, how did Oaklnd do last pre season? And what did that stellar record get them come time to play for real? :salut: (Note this is not a shot at Cowboys fan, but really an unapologetic attempt to bash Raider fan )

This isn't a matter of masculinity, this is a matter of common sense. There is absolutely NO reason to risk injuring somebody during a preseason football game. This is football, you're right, but that also means that your entire career can end on one play. Watching hundreds of preseason games over the years, I never see anyone playing at full speed, and that's the right thing to do.

Pre season is just that pre season. But none the less you give it 110%. Injurys are part of the game...no one likes to see them especially in the pre season but they happen. I for one am all for cutting down pre season to 2-3 games. But just a little note for Cutler and Lynch....football is an aggresive sport...pre-season,reg. season, post season.....hell even just some of the fellas getting together to play.

Phillips said it best..." blitzing is to the 3-4 like short passes are to the West Coast offense."

Whats next? Pictures of 1/2 naked men!!?? A loss is a loss....they should have won that game, but with the bobbled snap and the horrid play call of a quick throw to Glenn at the 5....it just wasnt meant to be. The Boys never would have been in the playoffs if it wasnt for Romo. We will see what he does this year.....I'm willing to wager on it are you???? We can do team or QB!! Your call. I know cash bets werent allowed on CP. I dont know about TCG however. I would guess not.
