I dont think his ban was fair. Hockey is being ruined!

Wider nets!
Not ties!
Suspensions for hard hits!

WHY GOD HAVE U TAKEN HOCKEY FROM US!

LMK what u think!

I think that viscious hits to the head with an elbow knocking the oposition's player out of the game with an injury is why Pronger got himself suspended. This is his second offense during this year's playoff, and his suspension was deserved, IMO!! Rule changes, and deliberate intent to injury players are two different things. That was not a clean hit, and he deserved more than what he got. Otherwise, for the record, i am a Chris Pronger fan. He is a great player, but his goon-like play is what is ruining hockey. A clean hard hit is great. This was far from a clean hit.

Stuff happens in hockey, it may have been just an instive move like he says, but either way he deserved a suspesion for it.

I myself like hockey fights and good hits, but intentionally using your elbow or Running someone against the Boards is uncalled for and Deserves a Suspension.

Pronger has alway's been a poor sport no matter what team he played on , giving himself a Bad name - When in reality he is one of the most Dominent Defenseman in the league. Hits like these need to be given suspensions or else this league might as well be called the " i am going to take your career away from you league"

I am not saying that he was right or wrong, but the guy is like a half of foot shorter than him. I just hate to see hockey being ruined, I guess it's time to start watching rugby again :)

I love the flop of Emry, I think I will call it the flop heard round the world :)

Might be a little early for me to be posting my opinions on stuff like this lol. But I think he deserved to be suspended. It wasn't his first time this year in the playoffs he has done that.

If you guys check the replay closely notice where the direction the player who received the elbow shot is going. His momentum is leading directly into Pronger's elbow. As hard as this may be to believed by some fan's he didn't have much room to avoid the open ice check. I find this open ice check a little more stiffer than the hip check that Steve Nash received from Robert Horry in the conference finals.

I think that the nhl should suspend the player for as long as the other player is out. Hurt them where it counts ( their wallet)
