Celtics GM Danny Ainge was released from Massachusetts Hospital on Sunday, two days after suffering a minor heart attack and having arterial surgery, the Boston Herald reported.
Ainge will not likely attend Game 2 of the Celtics series against the Chicago Bulls on Monday, the Herald reported. Doctors had advised Ainge not to watch the game.
The Celtics lost in overtime in Game 1 on Saturday.
"They just want him to take it easy for awhile, and they didn't want him to watch that game yesterday," Celtics managing partner Steve Pagliuca told the Herald.
"Danny might have slipped in a few minutes late in the game. But when I saw him after the game, he was doing well. He was in great spirits."
