On Thursday 10 Mar 2016: I got a single lone small box. It was a Sportlots win for $5.50 + $9.00 shipping I got a Near Set of the 2009 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions multi-sport/non-sport mostly Baseball set. It is often labeled as a Baseball set. Of course some of them I already had some already duplicated and triplicated. The missing cards are: 193, 195, 198, 206, 209

Bonus card: 1989 Upper Deck Baseball: 106 Tom Brookens Tigers. This seller broke one of the cardinal rules of shipping cards not necessarily the PWE rule that is flexible and if shipped correctly is OK but NO he committed the biggest of my pet peaves the two cards were in card "savers" they were taped together and at least one of the savers was TAPED shut. No safety paper between the card saver and possibly the card. Luckily the card was not touched by the tape but UGH.

On Tuesday 29 March 2016: I got a package that was surprisingly shipped fast. It only took two days but was sent "media mail" I got it from a collector over at the TradingCardDatabase for $25 shipped. A hardback book published in 2004 Play Baseball The Ripken Way Written by Cal Ripken Jr. and his brother Bill Ripken along with Larry Burke. Plus he included 4 cards 3 Redskins and one Oriole.

Second package was a small priority mail box from P-Town Tom from Waiting 'Til Next Year. His note mentioned a few years ago while visiting the DC area he went to a card shop in Silver Spring. Yes it was my Homie LCS "House of Cards" (houseofcardsmd.com). At the time the shop was in downtown Silver Spring, they moved last summer/fall 2015 to North Silver Spring and conveniently closer to me. On Wednesday 13 April 2016: a box arrived not cards related but Baseball related. Part of my order from MLB Shop some Nats Gear. A Nationals hat Olive 59Fifty fitted with the MLB logo on the back. It is a little darker than I thought it would be. I also got a long sleeve (2/3 sleeves) baseball jersey style t-shirt gray and blue with Washington Senators on it. I really dig the baseball J-Tees, always have. I plan on making a post about these soon on my Curly W Cards blog.
