On Wednesday 23 Dec 2015: I got a small box from Upper Deck. A little back story. I had gotten an email from an Upper Deck rep. Probably someone followed my blog. Apparently someone there likes my "Upper Deck Collection". I'm not sure what specifically they liked, but they mentioned they had some left over promo boxes of 2015 CFL Football and would I like a box? Sure I said. So a few weeks later I have a 2015 Upper Deck CFL Football Hobby Box 24 packs 6 cards per pack.

I plan on doing an old school opening soon. I won't attempt a video opening I stink at those and always drag on too long. I plan on scanning the unopened box, an unopened pack and then a sampling of the base cards, scans of the inserts and hits. I will attempt to do a nice review of it.

I'm not much of a fan or collector of CFL so I don't know who the big star guys are currently are. I don't have a "favorite" team from the CFL. I'm not sure if I will attempt the 200 card base set, this box might give me about half a base set, it could also give me tons of duplicates. I will probably either try to sell or give away most of these cards.

First cards in 2016:
On Thursday 14 January 2016: I got one PWE from Sportlots and one bubble mailer from Ebay.

First the Ebay was one card 2015 Topps Archives 1965 Style WF-1 Will Ferrell Athletics $2.99 + $3.00 shipping

The second package was a PWE from sportlots 3 cards each was a .25¢ auction with .99¢ shipping (combined somewhat)

1968 Topps Football: 2 cards both cards a bit offcenter borderline miscut
106 Ed Meador Rams coin rub cartoon on back totally blank must have been a dud
107 Fred Cox Vikings back cartoon is regular printed one.

69 Bud Zipfel Senators When I bid on this one unfortunately I didn't realize I already had it. Fortunately this one is in better condition than the one I had.

Oh a cool thing about the PWE is the stamp was a Batman Forever stamp.

On Saturday 16 Jan 2016 I got two packages from Sportlots one auction and one store purchase.

First package/envelope was a single card from auction .75¢ + $1.99 shipping 1953 Topps Baseball 256 Les Peden Senators. Seller said it was a Short Print.

Next package had a total of 8 cards order total was $3.90 + $2.00 shipping. The newer cards were all .18¢ each and the vintage cards were $1.00 each.

On Saturday 30 Jan 2016: I got a single bubble mailer from a Sportlots seller 2 auctions. This seller packaged cool with blue painters tape. I got a total of 6 cards 2 lots of 3 cards each for .25¢ each + $3.50 shipping. 3 of the cards were in individual toploaders and penny sleeves and the other 3 were in penny sleeves in one toploader. The only tape used inside the package was blue painters tape to help keep the team bag closed and on top of one of the toploaders (or I think it was on the entire group of toploaders)
