Ok so i found a pretty cool guy I could unload a few decent hockey cards to to get some nice football stuff. Well here's the lowdown.

We were talking he was naming off all these awesome cards and such and the cards he named went over 450 IF they were included... well

I sent him a TON of awesome hockey cards that booked well over 500. I figured I was going to get some cards that were nice... well boy was I surprised.

I got: A TTM John Elway Auto out of 1991 pro line. He said it was the 1991 John elway pro line auto. Which it is but I'm sure it is a TTM. He said he was looking for 100 bv on it.. which was the pro line elway's going price if it was certified. I assumed it was the real thing.

Keep in mind, I sent him LOADS of hockey jsys, autos, and Lots of freebies from Ultra that were gold cards. I calculated 450 bv and threw in at least 10 other jsy and auto cards. I can't believe that I'd hook him up this much and he'd send me *excuse my french* **** like that. I'm so upset.

A damn TTM auto. If that wasn't a TTM I wouldn't be nearly as upset.

I wish I could tell you what all I had in there. I had several patches, an auto patch that was SICK, A retro triple color jersey of an old hockey fighter.

I'm almost done trading at all online. I'll stick to money only. I was had on another trade too. Sent a forte auto /199 for a zabransky patch auto redemption. Sent my card, didn't get his.

This sucks. Sorry for venting.

Oh yeah I did add up the BV...

PRE TTM AUTO, SCORECRAP Auto and Absolute Mem. Jersey, we were at 199 bucks.

I don't think those 3 add up to 250 bucks. You tell me.

I was ripped off once before, and that is when I stopped trading with people who I didn't know for a long time. At this point, people need to send first or I am not trading.

Back in 2003, I collected Artose Pinner. I had a pretty awesome collection of his, but I got bored with it after a while. I ended up trading the whole collection for maybe 10 Playoff Honors Hidden Gems autographs totaling around $800, and at that time, those cards sold for nearly book value. The guy got the Pinners, but I never got my end. I had to call the cops on him, and since he had no proof of shipment, they said I could either take him to court, or work something out. We worked out a deal where he would pay me half of what the cards were worth. So in the end, I would take a loss at it because he claimed he sent his end. A couple months later I saw all the cards I was supposed to get on ebay. The guy never did send them because he sold them at a show instead. Never again will I give anyone a break again. I suggest going full out, because you dont want to regret it like I do.
