some people are stuck in the past ... theres absolutely NO Rivaly Between the Leafs and the Canadiens ...
i dont know what people are smokin there ...
people dont realize that Rivalrys come and go ... like leafs/chicago ... leafs/Detroit ... etc. etc.
sure toronto fans always want to win against MTL and vis versa but that doesnt = a Rivalry.


Leafs have No Rivals right now ... it was Ottawa a few years back but its faded because the leafs havent made the playoffs for the last few years ... but if you had to pick one then the closest rival toronto has right now is ottawa.


the only rival i know of is ottawa/buffalo ... and now maybe ottawa/philly just because of the downie hit ...

hopefully the leafs and ottawa get a lot of rivals cause it makes everything all the more interesting!
