I drove 3+ hours one way through Chicago traffic. Got there 2 hours early so I could go to will call pick up my tickets, and brose around the show. Bob Sanders was to start signing at noon. We waited around until after Peyton Manning was done signing, and Joseph Addai. They finally say Sanders is running late at 1:00 pm. At 3:00pm they take his sign down and tell tell us they dont know where he is, and wont be signing. I dont know about you, But im still pist. I drove 450 miles round trip to stand around for 4+ hours. MM could care less. They just said "Sorry, we didnt tell you to drive 3+ hours to come here.
They offered for me to trade my Sanders ticket for a Gale Sayers (which cost less mind you. Thanks alot) Other then that said I was SOL.
Mounted Memories can suck a big one!!!!!:ban:

What they should have done is collect everyones items, have Sanders privately sign them, and MM can pick up the tab on return shipping.

I asked them about that, and they said they would not do a private signing with him since he was a no call no show. Im more pist at Bob Sanders the MM, but they were real Richards about the whole thing.

THis is what i was thinking. A few years back i went to meet Wes Welker and he was a no show and that is what they did. Granted it was gridiron authentics but still sucks he didnt show.

I wrote a 4 page letter, alone with copies of all of my receipts, and travel, parking, and tickets to get in the show etc. I mailed it to Bob Sanders today c/o Colts VP of public relations Craig Kelly. I also sent a photo of my autograph tickets, and played up the the whole pissed off season ticket holder thing. We shall see what, or if anything happends.

Hopefully he'll at least hand write a letter to ya. But, considering the preseason is fast approaching, he probably won't.

Sucks too, because he's an Iowa grad  ...
