I'm still thinking over this whole DECISION. I'm torn as to whether to be a Lebron hater or neutral, as in just watch him play and show his skills.
It seems like he took a page out of KG's book, only did it earlier like Garnett wishes he could have. If management is not gonna give you the players around you to win that title then it's fair enough, leave. I can't comment on the loyalty issue with the Akron/Cleveland area, maybe Cavs owner said what he said to make the locals feel better but to guarantee a championship before Lebron is a pretty bold and anger filled statement.
That's the question, he can throw as much money out there as he wants but who will go to the team and who is left that he can build a team of title winning calibre?
It will be interesting to see what the Nets do now, having created so much hype around the Draft and what plans they had, maybe they'll have to wait until they move to Brooklyn now.
It's clear that Lebron is after the wins now rather than the $$$. Having said that, he'd probably make up for any pay cut he took from team salary in endorsements. I just think if there were only 3 options - Heat, Bulls, Knicks, then this is the worst one. I dunno, I think I'll take some more time to think it over, just my opinion.
