Both good players with plenty of potential for nice NFL careers, but Javy is an unreal player. Javy has speed, strength, smarts, tackling ability, coverage ability, and return skills that are all somewhere between "very good" and "freakish"....dude can bench 425 and was crazy good at blitzing....had 12 (I believe) TFL this year. Special player, one of my top five favorites in my life time easily.

I usually don't go crazy ape s**t about an Alabama player's pro potential, but he is one I'm thinking consistent Pro Bowler and one of the best CBs in the NFL over the next 10 years :salut:

Bah, damn phone rings whenever I start to type something...

Obviously not as sold as you are. :lollol: Definitely looks the part of a physical CB, loves to initiate contact, but will have issues with that at the next level when he faces up with a WR with longer arms/bigger frames (due to his 5'9" height). I've seen Riley Cooper and Joe Webb (both taller WR's) take advantage of that very thing at the Senior Bowl. And they aren't prototype size/speed NFL guys. Good aggressiveness though, would fit in the 49ers defensive scheme.

Only Pro Bowl appearances of his I would see would be from his special teams play, where he's a very dynamic player.
 
Man I would be livid if the Hawks passed on Berry. Hawks have so any holes to fill and WR is the one spot that is set so Benn seems like a waste while he is talented.
