Not the best trade for the Dodgers. They gave up resources for a guy who isn't a difference-maker. However, this trade looks like a steal compared to the Dotel-to-LA deal. Sigh.

I don't think this would be a bad deal for the Braves. From reading, it looks like Minor is a control guy with an average fastball. Guys like that are a dime-a-dozen. Hart looks to be under control through 2011, so it's not just a rental. He'd fit nicely into LF and in the middle of the ATL lineup.

Texas gave up a lot. They need to make some noise in the playoffs (of course, they have to make the playoffs first) for this not to totally backfire. Nice deal for Seattle. It's weird that Seattle got more for Lee than the Indians did last year. :scratch:

Kyle Russell is a Dodger prospect. I don't think he sells well, though. He's 23 (24 in 11 days) and just got called up to AA. Big time power potential, but even bigger time strikeout potential.

If not for the injuries, he would be the unquestioned best player in MLB history. Always a joy to watch.
