Red Wings coach Mike Babcock hopes Nicklas Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk will be on the ice for Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Babcock said Monday forward Kris Draper will not play when the series resumes in Detroit. The defending champions will get their first of three chances on Wednesday night to advance to the Stanley Cup finals.
Lidstrom and Draper have lower-body injuries; Datsyuk has an injured foot. All three were scratched from the lineup in Game 4, but the Red Wings won by five goals to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
