I think the Lakers paid entirely too much for Bynum. They're giving him that money based off "potential" and I think we've seen way too many players get bloated contracts after showing flashes that they COULD be great, for me to think he deserves money like that.

Bynum is by far worth the money. This kid will be a top 5 center in the league without a doubt.

I voted Deng, guy is a stud, just underappreciated. Granger is a close second for me, if not a tie.

Deng needs to be more aggressive offensively if he's going to earn that payday. he's got a great mid-range jumper, but he needs to attack the basket more, then he'll get better looks for that jumper... he's great on D though. But he's gotta be more consistent offensively. He should be one of the Bulls go-to guys, but isnt there yet.

I think Bynum will show what he is worth. I think all of them will. Either worth it ..or not worth it. LOL.
Bynum just like all the rest are unproven to their worth. Just like any player that signs a long contract. We never know what they will do.
I think basketball should be like football. Give them a big signing bonus and a contract. But at any time the team and kick the player off and his contract for not performing. That makes sure these atheletes earn their money. Only the best get paid the best!!
