Paul has already seperated himself from the other players on that list. He does everything well, has a high basketball IQ, leads a talented team and makes everyone else better.

I agree you must have been reading my mind and Paul is a unselfish player, he looks to get others involved. He understands that there is no I in team, I think Beckett did a great story on him this month check it out.

There is one thing you guys always forget. Ive been saying this for years and years. The MVP vote is bogus. Its given out by writers and journalists. People who dont play the game but rather watch it from the sidelines.

The votes for MVP are not based on how good a player is. They are based on who to profile next.

3 yrs ago Kobe was the leading scorer with something like 35ppg, had like countless 30+ and 40+ ppg and an 81ppg. His team did well and was amongst the top. Yet he couldnt even win an MVP. They gave him the MVP next season which made it seem like they screwed over CP3.

Its just a line. A line up of guys just waiting to recieve it once. CP3s turn hasnt come yet. Kobe waited how many years?

I give no credit to voting awards. They mean nothing at all. If you want anyone to choose the MVP, it should be a player/coach vote from all teams.

First of all the 81 point game came in 05-06.

In 06-07 he averaged 31.6 when he had the streaks of 40+ games followed by a 7 game loosing streak. His team finished one game above .500 just good enough for the 7 seed in the playoffs where the Suns eliminated them 4-1.

The next season in 07-08 when " They gave him the MVP" Kobe averaged 28.3 and led the Lakers to 57 wins to get the top seed in the West in the tightest conference race in NBA history. So from 42 wins to 57 and from a 7 seed to the top seed in the west when the 8 seed had 50 wins. Yeah I think that is what they call an MVP season.

If you think the Top team gets the MVP then explain how Kevin Garnett won it with a dump team?

Its all biased. Nothing like giving the MVP to a guy that helped his team NOT win a title or to the best record in the league.
