Antique cars are usually defined as a car that is 25 years old, so why can 1984 not be considered vintage.

I say 1984 and earlier is vintage. Meaning Strawberry, some Puckett, Tony Gwynn, Wade Boggs, Rickey Henderson and some others RC's should now be considered vintage.

i go by that same rule 1984 and older is vintage especially to a 16 year old

yeah it also means that my first car a 1983 Volvo is now an antique, man I am old, but it was 9 years old when I got it

I still can't get over how much a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle is worth. How is it possible for a piece of cardboard to be worth so much moola? I wish my dad would have keeped some of his old baseball cards, I'm sure he had all valuable ones because he was eight years old in 1952.
