ITG Ultimate Memorabilia #7 Is Worth Waiting For:
On May 28th collectors were advised that the release date for Ultimate Memorabilia 7th Edition had been delayed until June 19th.

In The Game has a policy of "NO REDEMPTIONS" and this delay was necessitated by the late arrival of several players' autographs.

Here are six reasons why UM-7 is worth waiting for:

The Autograph Card checklist will be posted at the end of this week. Remember, there can only be one Ultimate and it's by In The Game.

First of all, how nice is a "no redemptions" policy from a card company. They don't release the checklist until they have finalized very single card and they dump anything that couldn't be made. And secondly, UD could take notice that when doing cut autos you really can modify the cut window to fit the autograph rather than have half missing sigs or brutal looking cuts because the auto is made to fit in a standard cut window rather than vice versa. ITG, even without a license, and the inability to use currently signed NHL players does a helluva job with their product!!

They only do hockey and since they are unlicensed by the NHLPA they cannot use any player on a current NHL roster, so they have to rely on prospect players from junior teams or players drafted but not yet playing on the parent NHL club or retired former players. They still manage to create a stellar checklist all the time.

From what i understand Kelly, is that they can use players on current NHL rosters (as they still make cards of Crosby, MA Fleury etc.), they just have to make a deal with that player individually. They also can not have the NHL player in their NHL Uni, Thats why you see NHL players in either international unis or junior Unis.

so would Jr's be considered ECHL or AHL? cause if anyone gets anything Chris Beckford-Tseu; he's a ginormous half black half korean goaltender who played AHL in Peoria and ECHL in Alaska, and we are affiliated with the Blues, i want em He is the only hockey guy i go after cause none of our other guys have made it big yet
