Trade-a-Thon - June 16 to June 30, 2013

With less than 12 hours to go, it's time to start the official Trade-a-Thon thread. We'll keep track of all the completed transactions, side contests, and everything else associated with the Trade-a-Thon right here in this thread.

How to Participate

All trades that are started between the two weeks of June 16 and June 30 are eligible. All you have to do is trade with your fellow collectors between those 2 dates.

How to Win!

The member who starts, and later completes, the most transactions (not counting group breaks) within Trade-a-Thon time frame will be the winner. Once the Trade-a-Thon is over, we will still give up to 7 days for members to complete their transactions.

What is the Prize?
This is the prize for the main contest which will go to the member with the most completed trades. In the event of a tie we will go to random.org to determine a winner.

A $25 eBay Gift Card (emailed to you)

A 2011 Freshman Fabric AJ "Andy" Green Jersey/Auto /299

Already a couple trades posted in the Transaction Manager since the Trade-a-Thon started. I'll try to keep the first posted updated with trades, as they're confirmed.

Updated the first post with the new transaction totals. Looks like Luke could be out to an early lead. Remember, those transactions still have to be completed to count, though.

If you feel like any of the totals for you are wrong, at any time during this contest, just post in this thread and it'll get looked at.

We're almost halfway through the Trade-a-Thon, and it's time we make an unexpected twist in the game!

Now, buying and selling cards will count towards the Trade-a-Thon totals! Group break sales still will not count, but buying and selling of actual cards will.

Looks like things have really started to heat up during this week of the Trade-a-Thon. I'll update the totals at some point this evening. Remember, all trades started during the Trade-a-Thon are eligible. There will be a 1 week "completion" time following the Trade-a-Thon for everyone to finish their open transactions (if necessary). Any transactions not complete after that, though, will not count.

Just a reminder that all transactions created during the Trade-a-Thon dates will be eligible, as long as they're completed next week. There is still time to get transactions created, and completed, in time!

Well, the Trade-a-Thon has reached its deadline. We're going to give up to Saturday evening for the transactions to be completed. Any that aren't complete by then won't count towards any of the prizes. The drawing for the winners of the group break spots will be held at some point on Sunday. For the main prize, though, if Troy completes just 2 more of his pending transactions it'll be over and he'll be the winner of the AJ Green auto and the $25 eBay gift card.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this. We'll definitely be doing some more of these in the future.

After going over all of the remaining transactions it appears that we can now go ahead and congratulate Troy as our Trade-a-Thon winner! Luke was the only person who could come back and tie, but one of his open transactions is with Troy, so that would put Troy at 5 once completed.

Congratulations, Troy! Very well deserved. You'll be getting the Andy Green auto, and if you'll PM me your email address I'll get you your $25 eBay gift card too.
