Tigers SS Neifi Perez busted...

Detroit Tigers infielder Neifi Perez has been suspended 25 games, effective immediately, for testing positive for a banned stimulant in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Perez, has appeared in 33 games this season. He is hitting .172 in 64 at-bats with one home run and six RBIs.

Having watched Neifi from his epic days with the Giants, this stimulant was probably a jelly doughnut. However, MLB shouldn't bust players hitting under .200. He's having a tough enough time as is.
