So I know beckett is not the be all and end all on values. I have a subscription to all sports because quit frankly its easier on me and I trade so much it is just easier than trying to figure out comps. And who wants to spend 10 minutes trying to figure out if a card is comped at $3 or $5 anyway?
But I am hung up on something that was rekindled yesterday. Bought a box of 2020 Bowman's Best and pulled a Fransisco Lindor Atomic card.
So here is the pricing:
Base $1.25
Refractor $2.50 (1
ack)
Atomic $3.00 (1:12 packs)
Purple$4.00 (1:21 packs) (#'d to 250)
I really can not for the life of me figure out how something that is 12 times harder to get is only worth $0.50 more than the parallel that is one per pack.
I just don't get it. The same is true for most other cards.
I don't really care how much the Lindor is really worth I just don't see why it would be valued at such a close value as the regular refractor.
Anyone shed some light on this for me?
