A kid I worked with got hit in the face by a fastball and had to have reconstructive surgery. He sticks to softball now.

guess it's good they wear brain buckets.
one of our guys lost his 4 front teeth last weekend in a game up here. 4 minute major just doesn't seem long enough for 4 teeth.. sad thing is he was an emergency player, retired a few yrs ago but plays when we need a body. 15 yrs of hockey with all his teeth and in one shot he lost 4

The Hockey channel had a special on earlier that still runs from time to time. I forget the name but it was a history of the masks & what lead up to them. They had a number of interviews, footage & pic's from the orginal masks to todays. It's a great watch if you happen to run accross it, I think it was a 50 years of Masks special but wouldn't swear to it.
