... at least in some capacity.

The Rock returning to WWE television for more than guest hosting?
In an interview with the Jack Diamond morning show, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had the following to say:
“I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back and it’s on Smackdown and do a promo or guest host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be,” Johnson said, “”right now, we’re trying to put together – there is always something cool and interesting for me to do. I would like to do something more than just host the show. I’m in the process of creating something really cool for the fans – something very special and unique. It will be something like one big entertaining show.”
I really hope they bring The Rock back. He is hands down the greatest entertainer that the WWE has ever had.

and he's actually in better shape now than he ever was during his wrestling career.

Sweet, I can smell it....The Rundown and Walking Tall was his two best flicks and I wouldn't give either an academy award..lol

Yeah the acting gig may not have gotten him any awards, but the guy made a TON of money, got to do something he wanted to do, made some movies for his children, and got more exposure than the WWE would ever be able to give him. Kudos to Dwayne Johnson... now get your @ss back in the ring and make me laugh. :)

"with his first leading role in 2001, in The Scorpion King. For this film, he received the highest salary for an actor in his first starring role, earning $5.5 million."

from what ive heard, after hes done filming his next film, hes planning on coming back to the WWE in some capacity (hopefully to get his ass back in the ring) sometime this summer,im hoping for good, because im sick and tired of a certain son of a WWE HOFer talk (censored) every time this particular jackass gets his hands on a mic (20 points if anyone can correctly guess who im referring to)

Sweet.. now we can watch real wrestlers lose a match because a guy knocks him down.. then takes his elbow pad off, does some hand signals, runs to each side of the ring all together giving his opponents ample time to drop a regular elbow regain stamina and proceeds to do a regular elbow drop.. a move that was done in the match 20 times already. Yay for mic work and horrible wrestling..???
