Why does everyone hate on the PAC-10?

Jeaoulusy ... Personally, if they want to go to a 16 game playoffs i'm fine for it, but the BCS system as it is is a load of crap, and plus 1 won't make it better. I hate Tom Hansen for having no balls, but at least he is finally standing up for what is best for the conference.

People forget that USC has only won the conference outright 3 of last 5 years. SEC loves to beat that we are best because we beat ourselves drum, but when they play decent opponents they are as average as the rest of them. Sadly we'll have to wait until bowl season again (outside of cal and vtech) for that to be proven true.

I do like you, and I have no problems with USC because they are a legit program... I do not however think that UCLA, CAL, Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington or Washington State are worth crap.

Oregon and Oregon State are both quality schools....


but those other 7 teams would have a hard time competing in Conference USA.

I applaud the Pac-10, and the Big Ten, if true that they also oppose the +1.

This silly proposal, which is being done to protect the bowl system, is more concerned about protecting the bowl committees stranglehold on college football than having a true championship, which is why Division I football is the only NCAA division that doesn't have a playoff.

Any fan of a major conference team who sees how silly the BCS system is should support the Pac-10's brave stance.

But maybe you like the fact that the only reason Florida even had a chance to play for the championship last year is because Rutgers beat Louisville in early November.

UCLA could win the CUSA with their 2nd string, and why dont you look at UCLA's record against the SEC before piping off how they arent worth crap, because if thats true then the SEC isnt worth much either.
